|
Nowadays, using distributed generation resources (dgrs) and capacitor banks (cbs) is increasing given the development of distribution network as well as the increase in electricity demand. determining the location and the capacity of dgrs and cbs in the distribution network are two important and effective indices on power losses and improving network performance. this paper proposed abc algorithm to locate and determine the optimal capacity of dgrs and cbs. the objective function was considered a combination of the two functions of loss reduction and the energy not supplied (ens) as reliability criterion, used in algorithms by applying the weight coefficients in the form of an objective function. for evaluation of proposed method, this method was implemented on a real 33-bus balanced and unbalanced network of neyriz county distribution system, whose information was extracted from gis database. the results of the proposed method were compared with the results obtained from ga and pso algorithms to confirm the results. the simulation results show the more proper efficiency and performance of the proposed algorithm when it is compared with other algorithms.
