Application of seed nanoprimation improves the growth and development of medicinal plants, and increases productivityand better quality of metabolites. the aim of this study was to investigate the effect of different concentrations of iron oxideand titanium dioxide nanoparticles on germination characteristics of feverfew in a complete randomized design with 4replications. the treatments consisted of four concentrations of each of the nanoparticles of iron oxide and titanium dioxide(control, 1/1000, 1.5/1000 and 2/1000). the results showed that feverfew seed priming with nano-iron oxide had asignificant effect on radicle length, germination rate, epicotyl length and vigor index, but did not have a significant effect ongermination percentage and mean germination time. priming with nano-titanium dioxide also showed that it had a significanteffect on radicle length, germination rate and vigor index and did not show a significant effect on other traits. concentrationof 2/1000 of nano-iron oxide reduced the epicotyl length compared to the control by 15.6% and increased the radicle length,vigor index and germination rate compared to the control by 64.9, 18.4 and 27.7%, respectively. furthermore, theconcentration of 1.5/1000of nano-titanium dioxide increased the shoot length and vigor index compared to the control by48.9 and 19.8%, respectively, and its concentration of 2/1000 increased the germination rate compared to the control by39.03%
