چکیده
|
In this study, the adsorption process with modified polymeric adsorbent was investigated to separate uranium ions from an aqueous solution. the polymeric adsorbent consists of polypropylene (pp) as a base material and a monomeric solution containing acrylamide (am) and acrylic acid (aac). the optimum conditions for initial aqueous ph, temperature, and residence time were optimized equally to 8.5, 25°c, and 4 h, respectively. the percentage of uranium adsorption was obtained equal to 85 % at the optimum conditions. also, the process of continuous adsorption in a fixed-bed column was investigated.
