   adsorption properties of modified polymeric adsorbent for efficient removal of heavy metal ions from aqueous solution

چکیده    In this study, the adsorption process with modified polymeric adsorbent was investigated to separate uranium ions from an aqueous solution. the polymeric adsorbent consists of polypropylene (pp) as a base material and a monomeric solution containing acrylamide (am) and acrylic acid (aac). the optimum conditions for initial aqueous ph, temperature, and residence time were optimized equally to 8.5, 25°c, and 4 h, respectively. the percentage of uranium adsorption was obtained equal to 85 % at the optimum conditions. also, the process of continuous adsorption in a fixed-bed column was investigated.
