چکیده    Here, a 2d fluid-fluid phononic crystal composed of air holes in a mercury matrix has been ‎considered for the detection of glucose with concentration up to 60%. the proposed sensor ‎which is a 9×13 square array provides average q-factor, highest sensitivity, and highest ‎figure of merit of 2066, 2144 hz/%, and 109 (1/%), respectively in the frequency range of ‎‎39.7 khz to 42.2 khz the overall size of the proposed sensor is 46800 mm2 and the introduced ‎structure has potential to be used as an efficient sensor for glucose detection in biomedical ‎applications. the performance of the proposed sensor has been investigated by finite element ‎method in comsol software and there is a good agreement between the calculated band ‎structures and transmission spectra. ‎
