Methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (mrsa) is a type of staph bacteria that is resistant to most of the available antibiotics. the antibacterial resistance has become a serious problem in wound healing. so different methods have been introduced to overcome this great threat to public health. metal nanoparticles have been presented as good alternatives to antibiotics. in this paper, the antibacterial effect of silver nanoparticles (agnps) was enhanced by utilizing a green laser. our results showed that the bacterial colony population of both atcc 33591 and the clinical sample of s. aureus strains were reduced significantly in the presence of agnps. interestingly, the bacteria growth has completely stopped after 2 minutes of laser irradiation.
