چکیده    In this work, label-free liquid crystal (lc) based biosensors are applied for the detection of ‎breast cancer biomarkers. herein, human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (her2) is used ‎as one of the common breast cancer biomarkers. thus, the anti-her2 antibody was ‎immobilized on the ultraviolet (uv) modified dimethyloctadecyl [3- (trimethoxysilyl)propyl] ‎ammonium chloride (dmoap) monolayer on the substrate. the binding of the antibody and ‎antigen lead to topology-geomorphologic changes on the slide surface, which enforced lc ‎molecules orientation transformation, and consequently, adjusted light transmittance. ‎results showed that uv irradiation increased the binding affinity of the her2 antibody and ‎also the detection reproducibility.‎
