   synthesis and study of a new nanocomposite of [poly(o-toluidine)]/ (wo3nanoparticles) under solid-state and green condition and its photovoltaic activity in hybrid solar cell

چکیده    The derivatives of polyaniline have obtained remarkable attention due to their electronics applications in the field of nanomaterials. this work considers the electronical, structural, and photovoltaic properties of poly(o-toluidine) and wo3 nanoparticles (pot/wo3nps) nanocomposite that was ready using a template-free method and a basic mechanochemical reaction in solid-state. cyclic voltammetry (cv), fourier transforms infrared (ft-ir) and ultraviolet-visible (uv-vis) spectroscopy were used to study the nanocomposite. the results of band gap assessed via cyclic voltammetry and uv-vis specified that the forbidden band gap for (pot/wo3nps) nanocomposite was 1.03. the i–v curves analysis and power conversion efficiency of the fabricated devices fto/tio2nps/pot/al and fto/tio2nps/pot/wo3nps/al single-layer solar cells were performed and discussed. the photovoltaic energy conversion efficiency (pce) of the two devices were 0.18% and 0.55%, respectively. the data showed both indirect and direct transition were observed for the wo3nps, pot and pot/wo3np. this investigation demonstrated that the morphology and architecture of (pot/wo3nps) nanocomposite can be helpful in improving solar cell performance.
