   electrochemical sensitive detection of a β-blocker drug using a nanostructuredelectrode based on a ferrite/graphene oxide nanocomposite

چکیده    The present work reports designing of a newnanostructured sensor for analysis of atenololas a β-blocker drug. at first, ferrite/graphenexide nanocomposite (fgon) is synthesizedusing ultrasonic process. then, the structureand morphology of the samples are studiedusing different techniques such as fouriertransform infrared (ftir), x-ray diffraction(xrd) and scanning electron microscopy(sem). after confirmation of nanosizedstructure of the samples, they use anelectrochemical sensor for determination ofatenolol. the sensor is fabricated as fgonmodified carbon paste electrode (fgon/cpe).the modification of the electrode shows asignificant enhancement of the oxidationcurrent of atenolol than the unmodifiedelectrode. the electrochemical determinationsat the surface of the nanostructured modifiedelectrode present a wide dynamic linear rangeof 0.10-250.0 μm with a detection limit of 9.4nm for atenolol. finally, for investigation theapplicability of the proposed electrochemicalsensor, detection of the atenolol is performedin real complicated samples and acceptablerecoveries are obtained.
