anticancer drug imatinib/β-cyclodextrin inclusion complex to enhance solubility and bioavailability: molecular modeling studies

Imatinib anticancer drug (ima) under the brand name gleevec & glivec with the ability to treat diverse cancers as a guest drug and beta-cyclodextrin (β-cd) as a host molecule were used. the objective of this study was to investigate the inclusion complex interaction of imatinib (ima) with beta-cyclodextrin (β-cd) cavity to improve the solubility, bioavailability and stability of this drug.
