چکیده    This paper explores the utilization of metal organic frameworks (mof) that incorporate metals from the lanthanide series, which are the group 3 elements of the periodic table. organic metal frameworks are a class of materials that combine organic and inorganic components, and this research focuses on leveraging the distinctive properties of the lanthanide series metals within these frameworks. the lanthanide series, also known as the group 3 metals, are a group of elements that display unique electronic, magnetic, and chemical characteristics due to the presence of partially filled f orbitals. the investigation of metal-organic frameworks with lanthanide series metal bases is a promising research area for corrosion mitigation and prevention. these materials can offer enhanced resistance to degradation and deterioration caused by environmental factors, chemicals, and other corrosive agents. by harnessing the distinctive properties of lanthanide metals within the metal-organic framework structure, researchers aim to develop novel materials that can provide superior corrosion protection for a wide range of applications, from infrastructure and transportation to energy systems and electronics. the aim of this research is to investigate methods for increasing corrosion resistance using lanthanum series metal organic frameworks and has the potential to lead to advancements in modern technology and applications.
