تبیین رفتار سیاسی نهضت آزادی در عرصۀ تحولات انقلابی ایران (از آغاز نخست وزیری آموزگار تا تشکیل دولت موقت مهندس بازرگان)

نیروهای نهضت آزادی پس از رکود طولانی ‌مدت فعّالیّت سیاسی، در چند ماهۀ منتهی به پیروزی انقلاب اسلامی به تغییر در روند مبارزاتی خویش روی آوردند. رفتاری که واکاوی آن توجه پژوهشگران حوزۀ مطالعات تاریخ انقلاب اسلامی را به خود جلب کرده است. این تغییر رفتار در کنار عملکرد نهضت آزادی در این برهۀ سرنوشت ساز، موضوعی است که پژوهش حاضر ضمن بهره گیری از منابع کتابخانه ای و اسنادی با رویکردی تاریخی و روشی توصیفی درصدد مطالعۀ آن است. این مقاله درصدد است تا ضمن ارزیابی عملکرد این نیروها در اوج تحولات انقلابی، به این پرسش پاسخ دهد که چرا نیروهای ملی-مذهبی به‌رغم روند مبارزات پارلمانی گذشتۀ خویش در اوج تحولات انقلابی به همراهی با انقلابیون مذهبی به رهبری امام خمینی پرداختند؟ یافته های پژوهش نشان می دهد این نیروها در سیر حوادث آن روزها با آگاهی از ناکارآمدی رویکرد مبارزاتی خویش در فضای تازه و با توجه به سازش‌ناپذیری رهبری نهضت در مخالفت با حکومت پهلوی و براندازی آن، درنهایت برخلاف رویۀ مبارزاتی خویش سیاست همگرایانه ای را با انقلابیون مذهبی اتخاذ نمودند.

explaining the political behavior of the freedom movement in the era of revolutionary developments in iran (from the beginning of the prime ministership of amouzgar to the formation of the interim government of engineer bazargan)

after a long period of stagnation in political activity, the forces of the freedom movement began to change their course of struggle in the months leading up to the victory of the islamic revolution. the behavior, the analysis of which has attracted the attention of researchers in the field of studies of the history of the islamic revolution. this topic and the performance of the freedom movement at this important juncture have been examined in this research, using library and documentary sources, a historical approach, and a descriptive method. now, the present article seeks to evaluate the performance of the freedom movement forces at the height of revolutionary developments and answer this question: why did national-religious forces, at the height of revolutionary developments, join forces with religious revolutionaries led by imam khomeini, despite their past parliamentary struggles? the research findings show that in the course of events of those days, these forces, contrary to their past struggle, chose a policy of convergence with the religious revolutionaries for the reasons of: awareness of the ineffectiveness of their own struggle approach in the new environment and imam khomeini’s intransigence in opposing the pahlavi government and its destruction.
