جایگاه دین در دوران مدرنیته و پست مدرنیته

یکی از مهمترین ویژگی مدرنیته ، مخالفت با دین، سنت و تاکید بر بی نیازی انسان مدرن به دین بوده است و معتقد است که با افزایش علم و پیشرفت، نیاز جوامع به دین کمتر می شود و در آخر شاهد نابودی دین خواهیم بود. انتظار میرفت با بسط مدرنیته، دین از زندگی انسان مدرن بیرون رود. ولی ما شاهد دوره جدیدی به نام پست مدرنیته هستیم که درآن تمام مولفه های مدرنیته به نقد کشیده می شود. هدف تحقیق، مشخص کردن علل این تغییرات و تعیین جایگاه دین در دوران مدرنیته و پست مدرنیته با بررسی مفروضات و مولفه های آنهاست. براساس یافته های پژوهش، برخلاف نظریات اندیشمندان مدرنیست که نابودی دین را در دنیای مدرن پیشگویی کرده بودند، در دوره پست مدرن شاهد این موضوع هستیم که هیچ‌یک از ادعاهای مطرح شده مبنی بر تضاد و ناسازگاری میان دین و مدرنیته، و یا بین دین و پیشرفت، منطقی نیست و در جدیدترین جوامع غربی، دین و ارزش‌های دینی به حیات خود ادامه می‌دهند و حتی در جهان جدید، نیاز و گرایش به مذهب رو به افزایش است.

one of the most important features of modernity has been the opposition to religion, tradition and the emphasis on the needless of modern man to religion and believes that with the increase of science and progress, societies' need to religion will decrease and eventually we will see the destruction of religion. with the expansion of modernity, religion was expected to disappear in the life of modern man. but we are witnessing a new era called postmodernity in which all components of modernity are criticized. the purpose of this study is to determine the causes of these changes and determine the position of religion in modernity and postmodernity by examining their assumptions and components. according to the findings of the study, contrary to the theories of modern thinkers who predicted the destruction of religion in the modern world, in the postmodern period we see that none of the claims made about the contradiction between religion and modernity, or between religion and progress, not logical. and even in the newest western societies, religion and religious values continue to exist, and even in the new world, the need and inclination for religion is increasing.
