چکیده    This study determines the impact of academic vocabulary and lexical bundles on ba students writing proficiency in business context. generally, lexical bundles are the focus of attention as they contribute to the formation of spoken and written academic discourse. one of the key points in written discourse which might aim to the artificiality of iranian business learners’ writings could be the lack or incorrect use of lexical bundles. the bundles are considerable benefit to the ability of the students to write. this paper indicates that the teaching of lexical bundles should be given importance in any course of learning. this paper also discusses whether students’ use of lexical bundles could affect the quality of their essays. the effect of teaching lexical bundles is examined in lexical bundles, grammatical scope and accuracy and cohesion & coherence is discussed in the present paper.key terms: academic vocabulary, lexical bundles, student academic writing, business context
