in recent decades, issues such as tackling ozone depletion, keeping water sources clean, and searching for renewable energy sources have been addressed and taught at various levels of chemistry education. adding green chemistry-related topics to chemistry curricula and developing systematic green chemistry education is inevitable. on the other hand, green chemistry education is the cornerstone of green chemistry development. therefore, one of the most challenging topics in educational planning is green chemistry at different levels of education. the purpose of green chemistry education is to include information about green chemistry in chemistry education. this article illustrates a number of applied green chemistry teaching methods that have already been successfully tested in some developed countries.
