مسئولیت اجتماعی شرکت، محافظی برای بازده سهام و توجه سهامداران در دوره بیماری همه گیر کرونا

پس از شیوع ویروس واگیر کرونا، در اکثر کشورها مشکلات زیادی برای شرکت ها بوجود آمده است. در این شرایط شرکت-ها راه حل های مختلفی را برای مشکلات خود مد نظر قرار داده اند. به نظر می رسدیکی از راه هایی که می تواند از تاثیرات منفی این بیماری بر عملکرد شرکت ها بکاهد، رعایت مسئولیت اجتماعی شرکت است. از این رو در این پژوهش به بررسی نقش حفاظتی فعالیت های مسئولیت اجتماعی شرکت از بازده سهام و ارتباط آن با توجه سهامداران در دروه بیماری همه گیر کرونا پرداخته شده است. این پژوهش یک مطالعه رویدادی است. برای اندازه گیری نقش حفاظتی فعالیت های مسئولیت اجتماعی بر بازده سهام از مدل شانگژی و همکاران و برای فعالیت های مسئولیت اجتماعی شرکت از مدل گرگیو و همکاران استفاده شده است. جامعه آماری این پژوهش شامل اطلاعات 33 شرکت عضو نمونه در سه صنعت دارویی، غذایی و حمل و نقل است که از ابتدای شروع کرونا در ایران در یک دوره 6 ماهه مد نظر قرار گرفته شده و با استفاده از روش رگرسیون چند متغیره آزمون شده است. نتایج پژوهش حاکی از آن است، فعالیت های مسئولیت اجتماعی مربوط به بخش های جامعه، روابط کارکنان و حقوق بشر در دوره های رویداد، باعث افزایش بازده سهام شرکت ها می شوند و شاخص های دیگر تاثیر مثبتی بر بازده سهام ندارند. سایر نتایج نشان می دهد، بین فعالیت های مسئولیت اجتماعی شرکت و توجه سهامداران رابطه مثبت و معنی داری وجود دارد. به بیان دیگر شرکت ها با افزایش فعالیت های مسئولیت اجتماعی می توانند نظر سهامداران را در دوره کرونا به خود جلب کنند و ارزش شرکت را افزایش دهند.

corporate social responsibility, a protection for stock returns and shareholders' attention during the corona pandemic

after the spread of the contagious corona virus, many problems have arisen for companies in most countries. in this situation, companies have considered different solutions for their problems. it seems that one of the ways that can reduce the negative effects of this disease on the performance of companies is to observe the social responsibility of the company. therefore, in this research, the protective role of the company s social responsibility activities from the stock returns and its relationship with the attention of the shareholders in the course of the corona epidemic have been investigated. this research is an event study. to measure the protective role of social responsibility activities on stock returns, shangzhi et al. s model has been used, and for corporate social responsibility activities, gregio et al. s model has been used. the statistical population of this research includes the information of 33 sample member companies in three industries, pharmaceutical, food, and transportation, which have been considered since the beginning of the corona virus in iran in a period of 6 months and tested using the multivariate regression method. the results of the research indicate that the social responsibility activities related to the sectors of society, employee relations and human rights in the event periods increase the stock returns of the companies and other indicators have a positive effect on the stock returns. do not have other results show that there is a positive and significant relationship between corporate social responsibility activities and shareholders attention. in other words, by increasing social responsibility activities, companies can attract the opinion of shareholders during the corona period and increase the value of the company.
