چکیده
|
Any educational institution’s ultimate purpose is to provide students withthe best educational experience and knowledge possible. identifying pupils who requirefurther assistance and taking the necessary steps to improve their performance is criticalto reaching that goal. two machine learning techniques were utilized in this study, asfollows: students’ performance in a mathematical science course given by wasit higherschool, republic of iraq, during the duration of the covid-19 and stopped the face toface education because of covid19 pandemic in 2021. in this study, it was predicted themath grades for the students by using artificial neural networks (ann) and multiplelinear regression (mlr) for measuring the factors that maybe have effect the performanceof the students in mathematics. at last by the results of a comparative studybetween the tow algorithms, it was clear that ann algorithm was better than the mlr.
