residual analysis and model adequacy of count process

In this work, various tools for model validation and diagnostics in counttime series are discussed. our proposals include residual analysis, resampling method,assessment of the predictive performance methods and information criteria. an applicationof the integer-valued autoregressive process with the dependent counting seriesare investigated using hantavirus data set and illustrate the best performance of theproposed model among some competitive inar(1) models via the residual analysisand model adequacy.
