application of statistical simulation in transportation

The importance of simulation in other sciences is so clear that it has becomea practical thing. in the transportation industry, due to the importance of time, fuel,and cost management, simulation methods are widely used. in this paper, the role andimportance of simulation are illustrated by presenting the performance framework ofthe transportation industry. finally, with an example, the application of simulationand statistical viewpoint of this industry is shown.
