Active learning methods ask students to engage in their learning by thinking, discussing, investigating, and creating. in class, students practice skills, solve problems, struggle with complex questions, make decisions, propose solutions, and explain ideas in their own words through writing and discussion. the purpose of this paper is to explore how teachers facilitate active learning in the classroom by identifying the effective attributes they possess that impact learners learning. learners will have the opportunity to experience learning through facilitation. they will then be able to express their opinions regarding how the facilitator contributes to their success. in this study, structured surveys - with quantitative and qualitative components - were used as the methodology. in this study, 200 students from secondary schools were selected as participants. the results showed that engaging students through interactive activities, discussions, feedback, and enhanced technologies improved academic performance compared to traditional lectures, lessons, or readings. research also indicated that effective active learning methods not only emphasize hands-on and minds-on approaches, but also provide increased emotional and social support. finally, the findings of this study should assist facilitators in higher learning institutions in developing the essential facilitation skills necessary to impact learners learning effectiveness. at the same time, it is also intended to serve as a marketing strategy to attract new students and retain existing students.
