This study aimed to investigate the effects of elicitation corrective feedback technique on pronunciation errors of male and female students at ahvaz payam noor university. the participants were 60 intermediate level students who formed two experimental groups and a controlled one. a pre-test- treatment- posttest design was implemented. participants of the experimental groups were taught the pronunciation based on elicitation corrective feedback activities, the controlled group was taught the pronunciation receiving other types of feedback. the results of one-way anova and shceffe tests indicated that both experimental groups outscored the control group in the post-test. the results showed that elicitation corrective feedback technique helped iranian university students develop their pronunciation learning. the results and the method of providing feedback to the students may have implications for the teachers and the students.
