The study focuses on the impact of online and traditional methods on iranian efl students motivation and vocabulary learning strategies. a total of two groups’ (each contained 20 learners) learners were received two methods of instructions. each group was performed vocabulary learning, a vocabulary size test as a pre-test, a motivation focus questionnaire, and finally a vocabulary size test as a post-test. to analysis the extracted data anova and t-test test was assisted to answer the questions. the participants were assigned to receive the instructions through traditional methods and skype. the study was utilized the questionnaire mslq 81-items and the vocabulary size test by nation and beglar (2007) to review the vocabulary knowledge before learning by two strategies. this thinks about investigates a few variables in english learning accomplishment, such as learning inspiration and learning methodologies. the comes about affirm that there are contrasts between online and conventional strategies in learning the dialect in terms of students’ learning accomplishments in learning vocabulary. this study progressed learners’ english learning accomplishments by employing a mobile-assisted english learning framework of skype. the discoveries of the study propose that learners who have middle of the road level of english will move forward their accomplishments by utilizing the framework. moreover, analyst explored the impacts of inspiration and genuine learning procedures on learning accomplishment, as well as the acknowledgment of a mobile-assisted english learning framework by the learners.
