چکیده    The world has transformed into a digital world and fits into the palm of every hand. the overwhelming amount of information seems to replace the teacher. teaching and learning aspects have advanced with the advancement of technologies. the older version of teaching, only inside the classrooms and lectures hall has transfigured into blended learning. the communicative language teaching approach has replaced the theories of past decades of language learning. the challenges that teachers and the institute s administration face are many: they need not only to be a master in their field but also to have the technology literacy competency needed to provide rich, innovative learning experiences for students. neither every school, nor college has a sufficient grant to equip the center with the latest technologies or multimedia, nor does every student have all the facilities. teachers need to become digi teachers and upskill themselves. globally connected teachers can overcome the problems they face by sharing their useful insights, resources, and techniques. the paper aims to explore the ways that teachers develop their expertise by making the best use of technology and online resources, and the hurdle and barriers they may have in the implementation of this knowledge in underprivileged areas. oxford teachers’ club, cambridge international organization british council and american english live webinars involves developing an awareness of and proficiency in collaboration and communication, creativity and digital literacy, and personal development. microsoft education provides free training and collaboration to build teachers capacity. flip is also a solution.
