چکیده    Poly(styrene-co-butyl acrylate)/ clay nanocomposites were prepared by mixing the latex with aqueous clay dispersion. the products were characterized by x-ray diffraction (xrd), dynamic light scattering (dls), and rheometry. xrd was applied to study the dispersion of nanoclay. it was found that a fully exfoliated structure could be obtained by this method. result nanocomposite was found to have good stability. it was observed that the particle size of the latex increases when 6 wt% cloisite na+ (clna+) is introduced into the latex. the results indicated that the nanocomposites show shear thinning behavior with increasing shear rate.
