   pla/nmp system containing silica hybrids for bone tissue engineering

چکیده    In this study, an in situ forming (isf) scaffold was investigated for the purpose of bone tissue engineering. poly(lactic acid) (pla) and n-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (nmp) based systems were prepared, and pla chains were functionalized by an aminolysis treatment. the amine groups react with (3-glycidyloxypropyl)trimethoxysilane (gptms), which is the coupling agent between the organic phase and silica network. the inorganic phase was prepared by sol-gel reaction using gptms and tetraethyl orthosilicate (teos). pla-based systems were characterized using scanning electron microscopy (sem), fourier-transform infrared (ftir) spectra, and ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (uv-vis). the results show that free amine groups ascent with hda content and decrease with the formation of silica hybrids.
