In this study, bioscaffolds based on pvdf-go/plla nanocomposite were manufactured by hybrid electrospinning. polyvinylidene fluoride (pvdf) exhibits strong piezoelectric properties as compared to any other commercial polymers and poly-l-lactic acid (plla) is also one of the most promising biopolymers. from ftir spectroscopy it was found that the presence of graphene oxide (go) nanosheets resulted in rising the amount of electroactive crystal (β phase) up to 10 percent in hybrid scaffolds. dsc showed that go acted as a nucleating agent and the degree of crystallinity increased with the addition of go. the piezoelectric test also confirmed the positive effect of go nanosheets on the scaffolds, piezosensitivity increased with a ratio of 2.4 in neat pvdf and with 1.25 in hybrid scaffolds. the hybrid scaffold exhibited acceptable degradation after 28 days due to the presence of plla and go in the structure and none of the scaffolds showed toxicity approved by the mtt assay. sem micrographs of in vitro cell culture showed the suitable attachment and enlargement of pc-12 cells on the hybrid scaffolds.
