   bending behavior of glass/ epoxy multilayer sandwich composites reinforced with weft-knitted spacer fabrics

چکیده    Producing sandwich composites with high thickness deals with some problems during composite fabrication. to overcome this challenge, the multilayer sandwich composites formed by various single layer sandwich panels are produced in this study. the three-point bending test was carried out on the prepared samples. results showed that the deflection of samples at maximum bending loads is decreased by increasing the layers number by about 47%. the maximum bending loads increased by increasing the number of layers from one to eight layers. the maximum bending loads are calculated based on the layers number. it is found that the most optimal samples have three to six layers.
