چکیده
|
Polyurethanes are an essential group of polymers that despite their diverse applications, require modification in some of their properties. one of the crucial methods of modifying these polymers is preparation of hybrid polymers. however, due to the necessity of reactivity of acrylic monomer with polyurethane components, these polymers have been developed in a limited way. in this research, this requirement was met by using c=c-containing silane. indeed, modification of polypropylene glycol with silane followed by synthesis of polyurethane using this silanized polyol and methylene di(phenyl isocyanate) was introduced as a solution to enable the reaction of the synthesized polyurethane with monomers capable of free radical polymerization. increase in the amount of silane used for modification of polyol led to an increase in the molecular weight, dispersity, and gel content of polyurethane and a decrease in its hydrophilicity.
