|
Biomaterials play different roles in biomedical applications, among which some biodegradable polymers can be good candidates in this field due to their properties and compatibility with conditions. natural polymers and some synthetic polymers such as polyethylene glycol (peg) and chitosan (cs) are biodegradable and are extremely important in tissue engineering and drug delivery systems. therefore, in this research, it was tried to polymerize carbon nanotubes (cnts) as a carrier with two biocompatible and biodegradable polymers peg and cs, and modify the surface of cnts with strong oxidizing acids to achieve better distribution and stability of the cnts complex. the results obtained from transmission electron microscope (tem) and fourier transform infrared spectrum (ftir) experiments also showed that surface modification of cnts with peg and cs can be an effective and suitable substrate for medical and biomedical applications.
