|
Mxenes are a new class of two-dimensional (2d) materials. more than 20 distinguished combinations of mxenes have been experimentally synthesized and more than 70 types of combinations have been theoretically predicted. mxene-based quantum dots are a new growing member of 2d materials family. according to the functional groups, the nature of mxene dots is manageable. with a comprehensive study on mxene and mxene quantum dots, a new impression of vision was obtained based on photoluminescence mxene quantum dots. for this investigation, dual emission mxene quantum dots were prepared. the optical properties of mxene dots displayed double-emission fluorescence, which suggests their potential applications in the development of anti-counterfeiting inks by incorporating these materials into a polymer matrix.
