the influences of the poe-mah compatibilizer on the morphology, mechanical, and rheological behavior of n6/pc/go nanocomposites

In this study, the effect of maleic anhydride-grafted-polyolefin elastomer (poe-mah) compatibilizer addition on the morphological developments and its effect on the rheological behavior of nylon6/polycarbonate (n6/pc) polymer blend nanocomposite containing graphene oxide (go) was investigated. the n6/pc composition was considered to be 80/20 and the go was loaded at values ​​of 0.25, 0.5, and 1%. the rheological behavior of the nanocomposites was investigated in the presence and absence of the 10phr of poe-mah. field-emission scanning electron microscopy of samples showed that the compatibilizer phase by encapsulating the dispersed pc phase and is located at the interface between phases of the blend. core-shell morphology formation improves the tensile behavior of all nanocomposite samples.
