چکیده    Emulsion polymerization is the most significant method for synthesis of functionalized copolymer nanoparticles with different particle size and morphology. in here, the methylmathacrylate/methacrylamide functionalized copolymer latex nanoparticles were synthesized by emulsion copolymerization, which the amide functional groups have concentrations in the range of 0-20 wt%. investigation of particle size and morphology of prepared samples by dls and fesem indicats that size of the latex nanoparticles increased from 47 nm to 145 nm by rising the amide groups in copolymer composition. in addition, the morphology of nanoparticles was changed from sphear to janus dumbbell-like by increase the concentration of amide functional groups, that resulted of polymerization induced phase separation between hydrophobic and hydrophilic contents. the results of ftir analysis confirmed sucssecful synthesis of amide functionalized copolymer nanoparticles by emulsion copolymerization.
