چکیده    In this study, we have investigated the effect of aluminum oxide (al2o3) nanoparticles on the properties of fracture behaviour and hardness of epoxy resin. epoxy/al2o3 nanocomposites were made prepared at different weight percents of alumina nanoparticles (0-3)wt% by sonication method. the fracture properties were changed significantly at 2wt% alumina the impact strength, flexural modulus and hardness of prepared samples were increased 100%, 17.5% ,5% , respectively.the role of the clay nanoplatelets in the mechanical/fracture properties was investigated
