Nanoparticles (nps) have great potential to integrate diagnostic and therapeutic functions for disorders. the current study synthesized a core-double shell superparamagnetic nps (mnps) as a carrier for drugs. in this regard, the ultra-small superparamagnetic iron oxide@silica nps (io@si mnps) were synthesized; and then coated with a layer of gelatin (gel). several characterization techniques including ftir, tem, and vsm were applied to analyze the nps. results shows that the final mnps had an average size of 41.04 nm and a specific saturation magnetization value of 26 emu g-1.
