curing haracteristics and mechanical properties of nr/cr/sbs blends

This study examined different curing systems of natural rubber and chloroprene blend and compared the effect of each of them on the mechanical properties of the final product.it is also shown that with the help of some thermoplastic elastomers and solid lubricants, a homogeneous combination of two polar and non-polar rubbers is achievable, which made better dispersion and distribution of natural rubber and chloropene and also gave good tribological properties to the final piece. after preparing the compound, final properties had been checked by various tests, including tensile, compression set and rheometric tests..., which showed that a homogeneous compound had been formed, and it could be used for high ozone,intense environmental, abrasion, thermal, and high humidity applications.
