چکیده    Smart polymers are a new class of innovative materials, which have found much attention in different applications. light-responsive polymer nanoparticles with the capability of sensing ph of aqueous media have potential applications in development of optical chemosensors. in this study, light-responsive polymer nanoparticles containing oxazolidine were prepared by nanoprecipitation. methyl methacrylate homopolymer was synthesized by reverse atom transfer radical polymerization. investigation of nanoparticles morphology and size showed mostly spherical nanoparticles with a mean size below 100 nm. optical characterization of the nanoparticles at different phs displayed their potential application in development of optical ph chemosensors by colorimetric and fluorometric mechanisms.
