چکیده    In this study, toluene diisocyanate (tdi) was used as a chain extender to improve the mechanical and rheological properties of post-consumer polyethylene-terephthalate (pet) bottle flakes, which is known as r-pet. the reaction was performed in a co-rotating twin-screw extruder in a single step through reactive extrusion (rex) with different chain extender weight percentages to investigate the effects of tdi content. the results of this paper showed the effectiveness of tdi. the optimum sample was the highest weight percentage containing 1% of a chain extender.
