چکیده    Activated carbon due to its porous structure and adsorption properties has been known as one of the industrial absorbents and is used in commercial applications. improvement of the porous structure and pore size distribution (psd) affect the adsorption property and are one of the interesting issues, today. recent advances by using modern technologies in the production of activated carbon have led to changes in the structure and finally improve the size and distribution of pores, which can lead to new applications of activated carbon in solving today s problems such as covid-19. using the abundant low-cost agricultural biomass such as waste of mulberry juice extract, which contains high amounts of biocompatible natural polymers such as cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin is a suitable alternative material for the production of green carbon active with necessary modifications to increase their adsorption efficiency. the result of the scanning electron microscope (sem) showed a significant change in the structure of produced-activated carbon from the waste mulberry in comparison to common wood-produced activated carbon. also, the result of fourier transforms infrared radiation (ftir) verified different structures produced by pyrolysis of waste mulberry and wood.
