چکیده    Isocyanates, as the base of polyurethans and strong reactants with other chemicals, have attracted the attention of many industries such as adhesives, paints, resins, foams, etc. isocyanate molecules, despite the high strength of the resulting bonds, are highly sensitive to moisture and other chemicals, as their rapid destructive reactions with other chemicals in the environment cause defects and degrade the quality of the final product. to overcome this problem, isocyanates are temporarily blocked during the reaction with various blocking molecules until the desired reaction temperature, isocyanate is released from the blocking agent to react easily. the process of releasing blocked isocyanates follows le chatelier’s principle. in this study, the rate constant of isocyanate blocking equilibrium reaction was investigated. rate constant of block reaction at different temperatures (50, 60, 70 and 80) were calculated using  yield and reaction rate.released isocyanate was used in the adhesive and the results of the adhesion test were reported.
