چکیده    In the present study, the synthesis of a novel bis 1,3-diazabicyclo[3.1.0]hex-3-ene compound is reported. fast photochromic reversibility is a fundumental property of the synthesized bisphotochromic dye. the photochromic behavior of biscyclic aziridine compound synthesized in this project was studied upon uv irradiation at room temperature and the results indicated good photochromic properties. the chemical structures were characterized by ft-ir, 1h nmr and uv-vis techniques.        figure1. the synthesized photochromic dye (p1) could be switched between colorless closed ring isomer (a) and intensely colored open ring isomer (b). (a) p1 in dark place, (b) p1 after 10 seconds upon sunlight illumination and (c) after 15 seconds.
