The development of tissue engineered wound dressings has the versatility for different application. in order to produce biocompatible scaffolds with required morphology and porosity for skin medical care, in this study, the modified gelatin-based mat loaded with zif-8 nanoparticle were prepared by the electrospinning method. to analyze physio chemical and biological characteristics of wound dressing, different analysis including sem, tensile testing, mtt assay and antibacterial properties were performed. the morphology of gelatin/zif-8 nanofibers have an average size of 160 nm and nanofibers diameter increases by adding higher concentration of zif-8 nanoparticles. results of mechanical test indicated that adding zif-8 nanoparticles improves young s moduli of gelatin mat to 20.5mpa. biological test determined promising cell viability and antibacterial properties.
