چکیده    Achieving a defectless morphology, hydrophilic nature, and satisfactory physical/mechanical properties are among the crucial factors that need to be considered in the fabrication of nanofibrous mats. poly(l-lactic acid) (plla)/gelatin (gl) hybrid nanofibers were prepared in this work by co-electrospinning technique. based on the obtained results, it was observed that the sample with 10 wt./v % plla and 25 wt./v % gl had the most uniform fibers and desirable mechanical properties. this electrospun mat also showed the highest hydrophilicity among the other samples, with a water contact angle (wca) of  63±0.8°. these achievements demonstrated that the noted specimen has an excellent capability for further studies regarding tissue engineering applications.
