A urethane acrylate (pua) resin based on the raw materials of isophorone diisocyanate, polyester polyol and hema was synthesized. then, zinc oxide nanoparticles modified with methacryloxy propyl trimethoxy silane (zno-mpts) was added to pua resin. in this study, the effect of using organic light stabilizers, tinuvin-292 (t), and mineral stabilizer, zno-mpts, on weathering resistance and uv protecting properties of pua resin coated on russian pine wood was studied. the results of the colorimetry test, lab test, showed that the coating containing both types of uv stabilizers shows the least destruction against accelerated weathering conditions. it was also shown that the presence of modified zno increased the lifetime of the uv blocking effect of tinuvin-292 by its migration interdiction.
