چکیده    In this article, a new family of porous organic polymers was synthesized by 4,4′-methylenedianiline and 2,4,6 trichloro 1,3,5 triazine (pop-mdc) for adsorbing of scarlet and congo red dyes. the pop-mdc structure w:as char:acterized by using fe-sem and xrd techniques. both dyes follow the langmuir adsorption isotherm and the second-order pseudo-linear equation. the bet surface area of pop-mdc was 44.472 m2.g -1. the optimal conditions for the adsorption of congo red are: (ph=5, concentration 100ppm, amount of absorbent 8mg, 150 minutes) and for scarlet: (ph=4, concentration 100ppm, amount of absorbent 6mg, 60 minutes). at 25 ̊c, the maximum adsorption capacity of scarlet dye reached 88 mg. g -1 and 58 mg. g -1 for congo red.
