|
Two diamine monomers were synthesized using diclorodiphenylsulfone (dcdps) and aminophenols with different substitution positions, meta-aminophenol (map) and para-aminophenol (pap). afterward, poly(sulfone-amide) alternative copolymers were prepared from condensation reaction of diamine monomers with terephthaloyl dichloride (tpc). ftir and hnmr spectroscopy and melting point were used to confirmed chemical structures. pure water flux, salt rejection, and flux recovery ratio also were investigated using a cross-flow filtration system with nacl as a feed solution. structure-property relation of the substitution position of the amide group on poly(sulfone-amide) was studied on the performance of desalination.
