   random copolymerization of alpha-olefins with functional monomers by cationic alcl3/h2o catalytic system

چکیده    Adding functional groups to polymers is one of the new ways to modify the properties of polymers and create new applications for them. for the polymer to show a set of special characteristics, in addition to the type of functional group, it is necessary to control the amount of these groups. in this research, the synthesis of functional poly-alpha-olefin using an alcl3 containing system has been investigated. this product was identified by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (nmr) and ft-ir spectra. the results showed that the copolymerization of alpha-olefins with functional monomers are produced without the problem of deactivation of the catalyst, which is in the appropriate viscosity range for use in different applications
