چکیده    Fqam (frequency and quadrature amplitude modulation), the method combines with fsk and qam which most likely applied in mobile network. this method has potential to become future mobile network. this research is mainly deriving approximate analytical formula of fqam’s ber (bit error rate) in fast flat fading channel with two feasible methods: differential transmission with non-coherent receiver and pilot-based with channel state information estimation. ber in this two methods depends on channel doppler spread, and extra control by adjusting pilot spacing can be applied in pilot-based method. conditions to choose the reception methods are provided. analytical formula result for ber is compared to the simulation results of ber in same condition. analytical formula result is proved it’s precision by highly matched in comparison with simulation result.
