oscillation patterns of two coupled neurons of different types of excitability

In this manuscript, two neurons of different types of excitability are coupledthrough a gap junction, where none of the coupled neurons exhibit mixed mode oscillations and bursting oscillations intrinsically. then all observed oscillation patterns of theneurons are investigated, when one of the coupling strength is fixed and the other varies.more precisely, by increasing the coupling strength different oscillation patterns such asmixed mode oscillations, bursting oscillations, intermittent oscillation and synchronousoscillations may be observed in one of the neurons or both neurons synchronously.
