کارکرد استنتاج بهترین تبیین پیتر لیپتون در حل مسئله تقابل علم و دین

یکی از مسایل مهم در حوزه فلسفه دین، که می‌توان با رویکردهای جدید استنتاجی به بررسی آن پرداخت مسئله تقابل علم و دین است. استنتاج بهترین تبیین به عنوان یک روش استنتاجی جدید می‌تواند در ارائه راهکاری نو برای حل این مسئله فیلسوف دین را یاری کند، از همین رو برخی از فیلسوفان دین نیز به تازگی با استفاده از این روش به بررسی رابطه علم و دین پرداخته‌اند. ما در این نوشتار سعی کرده‌ایم تمامی وجوهی که این نوع از استنتاج می‌تواند در حل مسئله تقابل علم و دین بکار آید را بررسی کنیم. روندی که این نوشتار در این بررسی پیموده است در قدم نخست توصیف استنتاج بهترین تبیین براساس مدل پیتر لیپتون و در قدم بعدی بررسی راه‌حل‌های مختلف مسئله تقابل علم و دین با بکارگیری استنتاج بهترین تبیین است. آنچه بر اساس این بررسی در این نوشتار حاصل آمده‌است اثبات کارایی اجمالی این نوع از استنتاج در حل مسئله تقابل است، البته بر‌اساس این پژوهش این نوع از استنتاج در ارائه پاسخی قطعی به مسئله تقابل ناکارامد است ولی می‌تواند در روند ارائه پاسخ صحیح به پژوهشگر کمک کند.

the function of inferring the best explanation of peter lipton in solving the conflict between science and religion

one of the important issues in the philosophy of religion, which can be investigated with new inferential approaches, is the opposition between science and religion. inferring the best explanation as a new deductive method can help the philosopher of religion provide a new solution to this problem. therefore, some philosophers of religion have recently investigated the relationship between science and religion using this method. this study tried to examine all aspects of how this type of inference can be used in solving the conflict between science and religion. in doing so, in the first step, the inference of the best explanation was described based on peter lipton’s model, and in the next step, different solutions to the problem of conflict between science and religion were examined by applying the inference of the best explanation. what has been obtained in this study is proof of the general efficiency of this type of inference in solving the problem of opposition. however, according to this research, this type of inference is ineffective in providing a definitive answer to the problem of opposition; it can be used in the process of providing the correct answer.
