بیماری همه گیر کرونا اولین بار در دسامبر 2019 در ووهان چین آغاز گردید. سرعت بالای انتقال این ویروس باعث شد به عنوان یک بیماری فراگیر در سراسر جهان شناخته شود. ویروسی که با همه گیری‌اش نه تنها تجارت و کسب و کار را در سطح بین المللی متاثر نمود، بلکه بر تمامی ابعاد زندگی انسان‌ها سایه افکند. این ویروس تاثیرات عمیقی بر صنایع، دانشگاه‌ها و تعامل میان آن‌ها داشت. هدف از انجام این پژوهش، ارزیابی اثرات کرونا بر صنایع مختلف همچون تولیدی‌ها، گردشگری، بیمه، چاپ، غذا و کشاورزی، ورزش و داور‌سازی مورد مطالعه قرار گرفت. نتایج بررسی‌ها نشان داد که پاندمی کرونا اثرات مختلفی بر صنایع مذکور داشته است. در حالیکه صنعت داروسازی و مواد بهداشتی در دوران کرونا رشد قابل توجهی یافتند. همچنین، با مطالعه منابع مربوط به اثر کرونا بر دانشگاه‌ها مشاهده گردید که دانشگاه‌ها و دانشجویان بشدت تحت تاثیر کرونا قرار گرفته و نتایج منفی بر تحصیلات آکادمیک و مطالعات محققین داشته‌اند. اما ایجاد بسترهای مناسب در زمینه آموزش مجازی را می‌توان از جمله اثرات مثبت بیماری کرونا دانست. درخصوص تعامل دانشگاه و صنایع، کرونا در مواردی همچون پزشکی، داروسازی و بهداشت سبب ارتباط هر چه بیشتر این نهادها گردید. از طرف دیگر، در رشته‌هایی همچون فنی مهندسی، کشاورزی و علوم اجتماعی این ارتباط بسیار تضعیف شد.
