بررسی جایگاه جراید برلنی‌ها در مهندسی زبان در ایران

یکی از بحث انگیزترین اصلاحات در فرآیند مدرن سازی اصلاح زبانی است؛ ازاین رو، مهندسی زبان یکی از بخش های مخاطره آمیز آزمایشگری اجتماعی‌‌سیاسی در هر کشور به‌شمار می‌آید. در ایران، برلنی ها برای اولین‌بار اصلاحات زبان فارسی را مطرح کردند. این حلقه فصل مهمی از تاریخ روشنفکری در ایران محسوب می شوند. آنان در زمانی کوتاه با فعالیت‌های خود در ایران و در اروپا، با انتشار مجله ها و رساله ها و با تشکیل محافل بحث و گفت وگو، مهم ترین گروه فعال روشن‌فکران مهاجر ایران را در دوره معاصر پدید آوردند. بررسی جراید برلنی ها اتخاذ رویکرد آسیب شناسانه آنها را در مسائل زبانی درکنار راهکارهای عملی و اصلاحی در این عرصه نشان می‌دهد. جراید برلنی‌ها با طرح چالش های زبان فارسی و پرهیز از افراط و تفریط و اتخاذ مشی اعتدالی به انتقاد از شیوه های پاک‌سازی و اصلاح زبان فارسی پرداختند. با توجه به جایگاه موثر برلنی ها و جراید آنها در فرآیند اصلاحات زبانی ایران، مقاله پیش‌رو با روش توصیفی-تحلیلی به تبیین جایگاه این جراید در مهندسی زبان در ایران می پردازد. 

investigating the role of the berliners’ journals in language engineering in iran

language reform is one of the most controversial reforms in the process of modernization. hence, language engineering is regarded as a risky social-political experimentation in any country. in iran, the berliners, an influential school of thought in iranian intellectualism, were the pioneers of persian reform. through their activities including publishing treatises, journals, and holding conferences in iran and europe, they formed the most active intellectual group of iranian immigrants in the contemporary era. exploring their journals reveals they adopted a pathological approach to language-related problems in addition to proposing practical reform solutions. the berliners’ journals also adopted a moderate policy toward describing the challenges faced by the persian language and criticized reforms through purging mechanisms. considering the importance of the berliners and their influential journals in the process of persian reform, the present paper explores the role of these publications in language engineering in iran.
